Accessibility statement

This statement applies to the web interface of Docuflair Redact & Mask, including the public demo portal. We work continuously to make the application accessible to everyone.

Compliance status

This application is largely compliant with WCAG 2.2 (level AA) and EN 301 549. The known exceptions are listed below.

Content that is not fully accessible

The following areas do not yet fully meet the requirements:

  • Clicking individual recognised words in the document viewer is only possible with the mouse. As an equivalent alternative, terms can be entered by keyboard via the input field of the “Redaction” and “Pseudonymisation” tools.
  • Some short hints (tooltips) appear only on mouse hover; however, the associated controls carry full labels for screen readers.
  • Generated PDF files (exports) are not prepared according to PDF/UA.
  • The desktop applications of the product family are not covered by this statement.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 15 August 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment: a static code audit against WCAG 2.2 AA, followed by remediation of the findings and a browser-based functional walkthrough.

Privacy & terms of use (Demo)

Provider of the demo: Administrator.at B2B GmbH (hereinafter "the Provider"). By ticking the checkbox, the user expressly confirms the following terms for the use of the free online demo:

  1. Purpose limitation & user responsibility. The demo serves exclusively for non-binding testing and evaluation of the redaction feature. The user uploads documents at their own responsibility and warrants that they are authorized to transmit their contents to the Provider for processing purposes. Personal data of third parties may only be uploaded if the user has an independent legal basis for doing so — the Provider cannot verify this authorization and accepts no responsibility for it.
  2. No permanent storage. Uploaded documents and the redaction results generated from them are held exclusively transiently in the session storage of the demo environment and are automatically and irrevocably deleted at the latest when the demo session expires (typically 30 minutes of inactivity). No permanent storage, backup, or archiving of the content takes place.
  3. No analysis, no disclosure, no AI training. The Provider does not analyze the transmitted document contents for its own purposes, does not disclose them to third parties, and uses them neither to improve the software nor to train AI models or pattern-recognition libraries. Only technically unavoidable connection data (IP address, timestamp, user agent) are processed to ensure operation and to prevent abuse.
  4. Free of charge, no guaranteed availability. The demo is provided free of charge and without any guaranteed availability, performance, or depth of functionality. The Provider reserves the right to restrict, interrupt, or discontinue demo operation at any time and without prior notice. There is no entitlement to the restoration of lost session data.
  5. Disclaimer of liability to the extent permitted by law. Use of the demo is at the user's own risk. Liability of the Provider — in particular for incomplete, erroneous, or inadvertently omitted redactions, for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, reputational damage, or consequential damages arising from the further use of the demo results — is excluded to the extent permitted by law. The user is obligated to independently verify each result for completeness before any productive further use.
  6. Provisions remaining unaffected. The statutory liability of the Provider for intent and gross negligence, for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, for the breach of essential contractual obligations, as well as under mandatory provisions of consumer protection law and the GDPR, remains unaffected.
  7. Production use. Production use with real personal data requires a licensed on-premises or managed installation, in the context of which the Provider will, upon request, conclude a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
